With the introduction of air film technology, referred to as 'Air Bearing' or ‘Air Caster', in 1967 Airfloat has had the privilege of providing lean manufacturing solutions for many industries including but not limited to Automotive, Heavy Industrial, Oil & Gas, Medical, Locomotive, Transportation, Aerospace, Defense, Ship Building , Theater, Sports Arenas, Robotic Integrations, Paper, Plastic, Metal Stamping, Power and many others. At present Airfloat provides products ranging from airbearing airskids (air skates, air casters) to fully automated conveyor systems and moving assembly lines. Airfilm solutions became popular as transporter platforms and heavy-duty rigging casters, the technology was soon extended into air bearing turntables, including robotic turntables and mechanical turntables.
