Pneumatic Table Line - Lift & Rotate Speeds Daily Operations

APPLICATION:
Airfloat's customer had an ergonomic concern on their assembly line. Pallets 6" off the floor, were being loaded with crank cases and crank shafts. This equipment was then being loaded by an operator onto a monorail washing machine. Operators were continuously bending and reaching for the product, causing potential back injury and worker fatigue, while also increasing the threats of safety issues.

SOLUTION:
Airfloat provided the customer with a Lift-It™ Lift and Rotate Table which allowed the operator to lift, lower, and rotate the load at an ergonomic work level. According to the customers Plant Manager, a normal eight hour shift calls for at least 14 table cycles a day and the Lift-It™ Table was a cost effective solution that also helped to increase production and decrease injury risk.
