APPLICATION:
An Airfloat customer has six various muffler models that needed to be accurately chosen for each truck model coming down the assembly line. The random delivery of truck models on the assembly line required the operator to quickly and precisely decide which muffler was needed from an easily accessible nearby inventory. This process proved to be timely and costly with a constant need for the forklift to re-supply muffler parts to the workstation.

CUSTOM SOLUTION:
Airfloat designed a 27 foot in diameter, fully automated, six position turntable. This turntable is capable of reading a signal which is transmitted through the computer, indicating to the turntable which muffler is right for the next truck on the assembly line. The turntable then chooses the fastest rotational method to the operators position, allowing the operator to quickly and accurately finish the process.
